    Lawrence notched his first career 300-yard passing performance to lead San Diego past Drake, 27-0, in Saturday PFL action. He completed 22-of-33 passes with no interceptions and two touchdowns against the Bulldogs. Lawrence opened the game’s scoring with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Jereke Armstrong as the first quarter ended. He added a 62-yard touchdown pass to Armstrong late in the third quarter.

    Willis recorded 2½ sacks  as Butler kept pace in the PFL race with a 38-7 victory against Davidson, Saturday. His sack total, which wsa tied for best in the PFL for the week, came with two solo sacks and an assist on another – three of his four tackles on the day. Willis also was credited with a quarterback hurry, leading a Butler defense that held Davidson to 37 rushing yards.

    SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

    Williams returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown to help Jacksonville overcome Edward Waters, 49-28, in nonconference action, Saturday.  The 88 yard return was just the capstone of an impressive outing that saw the freshman kick returner amass 152 yards on three returns. Williams opened the game with a 51-yard return, broke off the 88-yard touchdown in the second quarter and finished the day with a 13-yard return on a short field. It is the second-most kickoff return yardage in the PFL and one of the top 25 efforts this in the FCS this season.
